Connecting in a Small Group
No one would try to climb Mt. Everest alone. However, small groups of people do
it successfully all the time! Likewise, it's foolish to try to mature in Christ
alone. It's also best accomplished in small groups. God wired us for community.
Christianity was never meant to be an individual sport.
Small Groups
"Small Groups" are groups of 4-12 people who meet regularly to "do life together".
This can include any and all of the following: Bible study, bbq's, boating, serving
others, teaming up to share God's love, praying for one another, grieving with or
encouraging one another.

Growing in a Small Group
RHCC is a place to grow. Many groups use the "Sermon Discussion Series" for group
growth and study. Each week we prepare a sermon discussion guide based on the topic
and key scriptures of the sermon that week.

Leading a Small Group
We are focused on identifying emerging leaders, helping them grow and develop, and
offering leadership positions commensurate with their level as soon as possible.
Leadership development consists of one on one coaching, organized training events,
personal reading and study and practical on the job training.
If you are interested in group leadership please contact
Bud Lamb, Pastor of Small Groups, by email or phone 916-939-3527 X202.
